Greenlight Bookstore

When Greenlight Bookstore opened their second location on Flatbush Avenue in Lefferts Gardens, they wanted to make sure they retained the recognizable spirit and atmosphere of the original store even though the new space was in a very different site. This shop occupies the ground floor and cellar level spaces of a new construction building on Flatbush Avenue in Lefferts Gardens. FTA’s design creates lighting coves throughout the space that mimic the feeling of natural sunlight. The column tops are gently flared in reference to the curves of the millwork in the first store and custom cherry woodwork echoes the material palette from the original Fort Greene location.
