A museum within a museum — 60 foot tall scaffolds for the artist’s solo exhibition in the atrium of MoMA.
Inspired by the archetypal balloon-framing of American housing, FTA created a background for Adam Pendleton’s installation of artwork, centered around scaffolding on a monumental scale for a truly unique artistic experience.
The artist’s idiosyncratic black-and-white paintings and politically charged video works were displayed on 60 foot tall scaffolding structures made of two by fours painted in black.”
